We are pleased to welcome Marten Becker as the new research associate in the Education subproject. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Marcelo Parreira do Amaral, Marten Becker will contribute his extensive experience to the design and development of digital educational infrastructures.

Marten Becker brings valuable expertise from his work as a research assistant in the Social Innovation Transfer Network. In this role, he conducted interviews with various stakeholders of social pilot projects. As a member of a teaching research project, he participated in the evaluation of online addiction self-help groups and gained experience in conducting scientific studies. In his master's thesis, he analyzed the addiction support systems of the Netherlands and Germany. Notably, since July 2023, he has been responsible for evaluation in the "Digital Mentoring" project. Through a mixed-methods approach, he was able to further develop his expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods as well as his teamwork skills.

With these experiences, Marten Becker is a valuable addition to our team and will significantly contribute to the further development of our research projects.
